Leading a normal-sized church is both highly rewarding and tough. Staying on the path to being responsive and proactive, rather than scattered and reactive takes a bit of strategy. For nearly 10 years, Trello has been a constant companion for me and I would love to share how it changes ministry.
Hi - I'm Chad Brooks
We will not just learn what Trello is, but how to build out several key systems and approaches to personal ministry productivity.
What's the best way to get started with the Trello for personal ministry course? Here is an introduction, assets and resources to help you get started.
How can Trello change your approach to project management and ministry organization?
We will dig into the basics of Trello (Boards, Lists, and Cards) as well as start understanding its approach to personal ministry by building a pastoral care system.
How do you learn to focus on large blocks of time, projects that span across several months AND keep focused on worship and sermon planning?
We will learn more about the building blocks of Trello and create a yearly ministry tool as well as a worship planning/sermon preparation calendar.
In this module, we will go DEEP into the card functions of Trello and talk through the broader idea of New Guest Assimilation. We will build out a guest assimilation system in Trello.
So how do you manage a responsive ministry schedule?
Ministry requires flexibility. And the biggest difference I have found is learning to ground myself each day inside of my weekly dashboard in Trello. It's bigger than a calendar and allows the adaptation I need to both respond to ministry, run large projects, AND keep up with recurring tasks.
